Once upon a time, there was a little caterpillar named Nikki. She lived on a big green leaf with her brothers and sisters. They loved to eat the leaf and grow bigger every day.
One day, Nikki felt something strange inside her. She felt like she wanted to change. She said goodbye to her family and crawled away to find a safe place. She found a twig and spun a cozy cocoon around herself. She felt sleepy and closed her eyes.
Nikki slept for a long time. She dreamed of flying in the sky with beautiful colors. She wondered what it would be like to be free and happy.
One morning, she woke up and felt something different. She felt a gentle breeze on her face and a warm sun on her back. She moved her legs and felt something new. She had wings!
She broke out of her cocoon and saw the world with new eyes. She saw flowers and trees and birds and bees. She saw other butterflies like her, flying and dancing in the air.
She joined them and felt joy in her heart. She realized that she had changed from an egg to a caterpillar to a butterfly. She had gone through a wonderful journey of transformation.
She smiled and thanked the leaf, the twig, the cocoon and the sun for helping her grow. She was proud of herself and happy to be alive.
She flew away to explore the world, feeling free and beautiful.
