Spider and Insect

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Nikki. Nikki loved to play in the garden and watch the tiny creatures that crawled around her.

One day, she saw a spider and an insect and wondered if they were the same.

She asked her father, “Papa…is the spider also an insect ?”

He replied, “no … a spider is not an insect, they are different.”

But Nikki was still confused. So, her father decided to tell her a story.

“Once upon a time, there was a spider and an insect.

The spider had eight legs and two body parts, while the insect had six legs and three body parts.

The spider was called Arachne, and the insect was called Insecta.

Arachne was very good at weaving webs, and Insecta was very good at flying.

One day, Arachne wanted to fly like Insecta, and Insecta wanted to weave webs like Arachne. They both wished they could be like each other.

Arachne went to Insecta and said, ‘I wish I could fly like you.’ Insecta replied, ‘I wish I could weave webs like you.’

They both realized that they were different and that it was okay to be different. They both had their own unique abilities that made them special.

From that day on, Arachne and Insecta became good friends. They would often play together in the garden and show each other their unique abilities.”

Nikki was happy to learn that spiders and insects were different but special in their own way.

She realized that it was okay to be different and that everyone had their own unique abilities that made them special.
